Ivan McCullough started Machine Tool Maintenance in 1996 after previously running McCullough Electronics, continually providing CNC breakdown cover and support to companies all over Ireland for over 30 years. The firm has secured several contracts with a variety of companies. We hold a variety of call and response cover contracts with businesses such as  Spirit Aerospace, Ryobi Aluminium Casting, Linamar UK, Burnside Engineering among others, ranging from small to large, and local to international.

We have the expertise to provide full maintenance and repair for CNC Machines, both mechanical and electronic, to software faults which may occur within your systems. The company have abundant experience working on a wide variety of machine makes, such as Mori Seiki, Colchester, D.M.G.,Victor cnc,Hurco, G & L, Kitamura, Nakamura, Daewoo, Dugard. Working on all CNC machines from mills, lathes, and routers, to 5 axis machines with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, and Indramat controls, enables MTM to have a large database of knowledge within the industry.

We also provide communication software packages tailored to suit individual company needs.

In the past we have carried out numerous retrofits and software upgrades staying at the forefront of CNC technology, turning large manual machines into cutting edge CNC’s, replacing controls with the newest models, integrating robots into CNC machining cells, producing one off machines for specialised applications. As a business we value the importance of adaption and innovation within the technological industry.

We also provide decommission, removal and re-commission of machines, moving from building to building, or country to country; carrying out machine moves from Ireland and England to France and Singapore. The firm not only has a firm grasp on the local engineering industry, but over the years has gained evermore knowledge of international industry, building a strong client network globally.

Currently the company consists two expert Engineers with over 50 years combined experience in all areas of CNC machines,and four support Engineers / Technicians with over 30 years’ experience. All our engineers have on site experience in mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis; with three have experience in writing and upgrading or altering CNC software. We hope to expand our team in the near future.
